Arts

Sarah joins us from Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Arts Team where she has co-developed and delivered the arts strategy for the new Diagnostic Centre, which has been recently been nominated for a European Healthcare Design Award.
Previously Sarah was Deputy Director of Arts at Koestler Arts, the prison arts charity that encourages people in the criminal justice system to change their lives by participating in the arts.
Sarah is passionate about using arts, culture and creativity to help individual development, create community cohesion, improve environments and support wellbeing.

Grace manages our participatory arts programme which involves developing new partnerships to provide opportunities for patients, staff and visitors to take part in creative activities. This includes leading our Staff Arts Club initiative, developing our new resident artist scheme and delivering our annual St George’s Arts Week.
Prior to this, Grace worked for live music producer Serious, where she produced a wide range of creative engagement projects and in bespoke settings such as Hospitals, Prisons, Pupil Referral Units and Museums and delivered 4 editions of the EFG London Jazz Festival participatory programme. Grace loves working at St George’s as it is a real privilege to bring talented creatives from a range of artistic disciplines to our hospital, working with and for our inspiring staff and patient body.
