WEDNESDAY 20 December

London Concert Choir is returning to Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square for a concert of traditional and modern Christmas music with the chance for you to join in singing the familiar carols.

Funds raised from the carol concert, an interval bar and a retiring collection, will go to St George’s Hospital Charity- Time for a Change Appeal.

When faced with the most serious illnesses and trauma, parents and families from across London, Surrey, Sussex and beyond, turn to St George’s. Our outstanding clinical care is delivered by committed and compassionate teams. St George’s Hospital Charity has launched the Time for Change children’s appeal to raise £5m so the children’s facilities can start its transformation to match the Hospital’s world-class care and to meet the ever-growing demand for its services.

St George’s is not just a hospital. It is at the heart of the local community, serving patients from across South London and the Southeast of England. Help us to create the best St George’s for our children and our staff.

The Charity has already raised over £2.3m and now needs your help to reach its target.

The appeal aims to raise £5 million to transform children’s services at St George’s by:

  • Expanding paediatric intensive care unit by a third
  • Transforming the wards into bright and welcoming spaces
  • Creating better facilities for staff, who work so tirelessly!

The Charity aims to raise £5m in support of transforming children’s services at St George’s Hospital. The joint intention of the Trust and the Charity is that funds generated by the Charity will contribute to the expansion of PICU and its associated family spaces, along with the refurbishment of Nicholls, Pinckney and Frederick Hewitt wards. Through this Appeal, there is a small chance that we will raise more money than we need. If this happens, or if for any unforeseen reason we are unable to proceed as originally intended with the projects outlined, gifts will be used to support other projects that benefit children’s services.
