Join Team George's for the iconic London to Brighton Cycle event.
With a start in London, you'll predominantly cycle along quiet country lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs where you will be rewarded with amazing views and a water break!

- How many charity places does Team George's have?
Team George's only has 15 places for this epic event. Early registration is recommended to secure your place.
- Is there a minimum fundraising amount?
Yes, the minimum fundraising target for this event is £350. However, you will have 1-1 support from one of our dedicated members of the fundraising team throughout.
- What fundraising requirements do I need to meet to secure my place?
To confirm your place on the challenge, we typically require participants to have raised at least 60% of their target around 6 weeks before the event. However, this may vary depending on event costs and timelines.
As part of your registration, you will receive fundraising milestones to help guide you.
- How fit do I need to be?
The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is challenging but achievable. In order to maximise your enjoyment you do need to train and get out on your bike before the ride! When you are signed up you’ll have access to a tailored training plan which will help you prepare for the challenge.
- Is there an age restriction?
The minimum age for this event is 18 years old.
- Is there transport provided back to London at the end of the event?
Yes! There is a bike and coach transfer from Brighton back to the start on Clapham Common for an additional fee. Once you are signed up you’ll be sent a link to book a place. Places are limited for this service and do sell out so worth booking in good time.
