Abseil Fundraiser Spotlight: Sarah Lee & Charlotte Edwards

Sisters Sarah and Charlotte are going over the edge on Saturday 12th March as they take on Abseil for George’s.
Paediatric teams at St George’s Hospital have been looking after Sarah’s son, Noah, since he was 18 months old.
Sarah said: “Noah’s immune system doesn’t behave as it should and has required him to have lot of tests, hospital stays and multiple blood transfusions to help him to recover.
“He has seen numerous specialist doctors, nurses, lab technicians and volunteers. Hours and hours of care and treatment.”
On the abseil the sisters said: “We are feeling excited about the event although a little nervous ! However we will be brave as Noah is always so brave.
“We would like to thank all the staff who have helped us A&E, PICU, Freddy Hewitts and Jungle Ward.
“Special thanks will always go to Dr Thomas and her paediatric haematology team. They took such good care of Noah and without them I don’t think he’d be here. They are incredible!”
The sisters will join over 100 people descending down the Pelican Hotel over a three-day period in March.
