Yoga studio donates class fees to St George's

5th December 2017

The Radiant Hand Yoga Studio in Tooting is currently running a special charity timetable where 50% of all class payments taken over a two week period will be donated to St George’s Hospital Charity. The money raised will be split between two funds, the Neo-Natal Unit and a breast cancer research fund, where it will make a huge difference.

Donations to the Neo-Natal Unit help to fund new pieces of medical equipment, facilities, and additional staff training that is ‘above and beyond’ what is normally provided. The breast cancer research fund is currently investigating what hormones in our body make tumours grow bigger and faster, and how and why they do so.

The Radiant Hand will be running 3 classes each day from Thursday 30th November to Wednesday 13th December. All levels are welcome, including beginners. You can see what’s on and book a class via their website, The Radiant Hand App or email info@theradianthand.co.uk to find out more information.

There are two pricing options for people who want to take part. Any individual class costs £16. Alternatively people can purchase a ‘Dana Pass’ which entitles them to attend an unlimited amount of classes for £135.

The team at Radiant Hand said: “We are delighted to be supporting the work of St George's Hospital Charity. Coming along to classes over the two week period offers our customers a wonderful opportunity to give back to themselves in the run up to the winter festivities – whilst contributing to an inspiring and worthwhile cause!”

Lizzie Wilson, Community and Events Fundraiser, said: “We are always blown away by the generosity of local businesses and their customers. They make such a difference to staff, patients, and their families at St George’s. We can’t thank them enough for their vital support of these two funds.”
