Recital in aid of Children’s Appeal

8th December 2017

BSc Child Nursing student Emilia Jewitt is organising a recital in aid of St George’s Hospital Charity's Children’s Appeal.  As well as being a Mezzo-soprano, Emilia has been training as a nurse on the children’s wards at St George’s Hospital.

Emilia says: “I am so grateful for the education and support I have received during my placements at St George's and it has been my absolute privilege to meet so many of the children and families during their treatment. As a freelance classical singer, I wanted to take this opportunity to use music to raise money for resources, sensory equipment and play materials to improve hospital stays for these children and their families."

The recital takes place on Saturday 3 February at 7pm at St Anne’s Church, St Ann’s Hill in Earlsfield.  Along with Emilia, Harry Palmer and Ashley Beauchamp will be accompanying her on the piano. Tickets are £7 and are available on the evening.
