“Better care, healthier lives” – St George’s Hospital Charity launches new brand to connect with patients and supporters

St George’s Hospital Charity is proud to unveil our new brand with an official ribbon-cutting by Amerjit Chohan, CEO of St George’s Hospital Charity, and Jacqueline Totterdell, CEO of St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.





We were thrilled to reveal our new Fundraising Office decal in Grosvenor Wing today, after quietly working away for months on developing the new charity brand.

Throughout the process we’ve been working with design firm, Open Agency, who have developed our new logo and brand look and feel, as well as our eye-catching new decal. The first stage of the process involved meetings with charity staff, Trustees and hospital staff to get a broad view of the personality of St George’s Hospital Charity and how we’re viewed in the Trust. This work allowed us to clarify our new vision “Better care, healthier lives” which summaries our ambition as a charity and helps us set our plans for the future.

Over the next few months we’ll be rolling out the brand across a new website, posters and signs, collection tins, and running t-shirts – so keep an eye out!

St George’s Hospital Charity’s re-brand aims to raise the charity’s profile and appeal to patients, staff and potential donors. The logo features a stylised ‘G’ icon and a modern purple, navy, orange and yellow colour palette. We hope the refreshed brand will improve the professionalism and consistency of the brand, helping to secure more donations and create a better aesthetic for patients, staff, donors and the wider community.

Amerjit Chohan, Chief Executive of St George’s Hospital Charity said, “St George’s Hospital Charity is known for its innovative and collaborative work so we wanted to create a brand that reflected our ambitions for the future. We love how bright and fresh the new logo looks! The new branding will now roll out on the website, signage and interiors across the Trust. We think this will go a long way in making the brand more consistent and recognisable across both St George’s and Queen Mary’s.”
