We are delighted to announce that as part of a new, long-term partnership between Starbucks and NHS Charities Together (NHSCT), St George’s Hospital Charity is the first NHS charity to join forces with their local Starbucks stores across South London.

Called 'community twinning', the pairing aims to thank local NHS staff and provide direct support to local charities in as many ways possible - from employee fundraising, to accessing a warm and comfortable space, to increasing connections between St George’s Hospital charity and its community.

Next week, to raise money for St George’s Hospital Charity and to say a huge thank you to the incredible NHS staff that go above and beyond, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, South Londoners will be greeted by baristas wearing santa hats when they pick up their morning coffee.

As part of our St George's Hospital Charity Santa Hat Day, Starbucks partners (employees) in stores across South London will be pairing their green aprons with Santa hats over the next 7 days.

Molly Simpson, Events and Community Fundraising Manager at St George’s Hospital Charity said: “As a proud member of NHS Charities Together, we are so excited to be one of the first NHS Charities to partner with local Starbucks branches in South West London. We are looking forward to seeing all the staff in their santa hats and want to thank Starbucks and their partners for their amazing support.”

Look out for Starbucks partners wearing their santa hats in the following stores from Monday 14th December: Tooting Broadway, Colliers Wood, Clapham Junction, Clapham Old Town, Clapham High Street, Wimbledon and Earlsfield.
