St George’s Hospital Charity funds new Trust intranet15 July 2019
We are delighted to be helping fund a project to develop a brand new intranet for St George's Trust.
The Trust's current intranet is very old and difficult to update, and a new intranet will bring a range of benefits; both as a way of communicating and engaging with staff, but also (and more importantly) as a tool to make staff's working lives easier.
The new intranet will have a range of different features to improve communications and engagement; and also make it easier for staff to find out about the work of St George’s Hospital Charity, and how staff across the Trust can apply for charitable funding.
The intranet re-development is being led by the Trust's communications team, and a project manager started work last week.
Amerjit Chohan, Chief Executive of St George’s Hospital Charity, said:
“I am delighted that we’ve been able to support this project, which I know will make the working lives of staff much easier. This was a big driver for why we agreed to the funding application; but we also recognise the opportunity it provides to raise awareness amongst staff about the charity, and how you can stay engaged with the work we do.”
Chris Rolfe, Associate Director of Communications at the Trust, added:
“We are extremely grateful to Amerjit and the charity for championing this project, and making funding available. We’ve known for a long time how frustrating our current intranet can be for staff; so to have started the intranet re-development project this week is great news. There is a huge amount of work to do, and the launch is many, many months away; but the opportunity it presents is huge, and really exciting for my team, and staff across the organisation.”
