Staff Enjoy Three-Part Life Drawing Course
04 April 2022
Focusing on the basics of drawing the body, our facilitators, Anya & Bex, guided the participants through trying out different techniques to visually record a range of pose lengths. Each week, we were introduced to a new material to work with – pencils, watercolours, and charcoal.
As with each of our remote Staff Arts Club workshops, staff collected a pre-prepared resource pack in advance of the session, containing everything they needed to take part. This meant that they have the chance to continue to explore the methods and tools they learnt and used during the sessions in their own time.
We have been delighted to receive such positive feedback from staff for the sessions, reflecting the impact that the activity had on both their artistic enthusiasms and general wellbeing:
“Thank you so much for providing the material, expertise and time for the life drawing classes. It was a wonderful pocket of headspace from the relentless pressure at work.”
“The life drawing class last night was so wonderful! It is not something I have ever done, but I loved every minute... I cannot wait for next week!”
