Arts St George's are excited to present our exhibition 'Our Hospital: Exploring the Heritage of St George's Hospital'. The display forms part of ‘Our Hospital: conserving, curating and responding to St George’s Art and Heritage Collection’, our heritage project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Located on the ground floor corridor of Lanesborough Wing at St George's Hospital, this exhibition traces the history of the hospital from its origins at Hyde Park Corner to Tooting.
For the first time, this exhibition brings together artworks from the St George’s Art and Heritage Collection, and items generously reproduced from the City St George’s Archives and Special Collection to share the heritage of the buildings and previous hospitals that form St George's Hospital as it is today.
